After several years of being a fan of the NFL and the 49ers, I took the advice of many and decided to put my knowledge and passion to good use.

I have contributed to several blogs including SB Nation’s 49ers site, NinersNation.com, prior to landing at NBC Sports Bay Area.

While the actual game is exciting, it is the back stories behind the players that intrigue me the most.

Hopefully while satisfying my own curiosity, the stories here provide a little insight as to what happens behind the scenes of a football team, and how it effects what unfolds on the field.
